Darjeeling to Gangtok – Sightseeing And Transfer
APPROX DISTANCE: 230 KM · EST. TRAVEL TIME: 10 HOURS Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) back to hotel. After breakfast at 8:30 AM check out from hotel (with luggage) and visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway (Note: Closed on 19th of Every Month), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple(Peace Pagoda).
Gangtok – Fullday Sightseeing
EST. TRAVEL TIME: 6 HOURS After breakfast Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery and Bakhthang falls (maximum 6 hours).
Gangtok to Phuenstsholing – Transfer
APPROX DISTANCE: 225 KM · EST. TRAVEL TIME: 8 HOURS After breakfast, transfer to Phuentsholing (961 ft.) – The Gateway of Bhutan by road from India. It is a thriving commercial centre on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel.
Phuenstsholing – Siliguri – Transfer
Driving Distance – 150 Km. Driving time – 5 Hr | Altitude of Thimphu – 122 m. After breakfast, transfer to Shiliguri (400 ft.) On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to relax at the hotel or walk around the Siliguri town.
Departure and onward transfer
After breakfast, check out and continue with the arranged onward transfer. The departure point and timing can be customised to suit your travel plans.
